We are seeking ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP members to join a steering group to oversee the next stage of ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP’s planned Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) work. You do not need to be an expert in this field, but someone who is interested in ensuring that ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP is a safe, welcoming and inclusive organisation.
The remit of the group will include:
- To advise ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP Executive Committee on EDI related projects within ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP’s work programme.
- Advocacy and allyship for minoritised voices within the ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP membership.
- Development and support of implementing internal guidance to ensure that ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP’s work is inclusive.
- Support ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP EC with review of frameworks and resources produced by ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP.
- Support ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP with formulating formal responses to external documentation where relevant.

If you would like to apply but do not fit any of the roles with current vacancies then you can apply under the ‘other’ category. No previous experience of ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP working groups is required and applications must be from ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP members.
Members will serve a three-year term from May 2024. It is envisaged that the full group will meet virtually three times per year, however, there may be additional meetings for any sub-groups working on specific projects. Meetings will primarily take place on-line. If a face-to-face meeting is deemed essential then ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP will reimburse reasonable expenses as per ÌìÑĺ£½ÇAPP expenses policy.
